Important Information

At Prestige Whisky Auction we know how important it is that our first-class customer experience is continued through to the delivery stage of your order. For this reason, we have a flexible and professional delivery service which offers a solution for all our customers.

Courier Deliveries & Collections 

Our members generally use our courier service for collections and deliveries which is also our preferred method. Our courier network are experts in transporting premium goods safely and timeously. However, in the ever-changing international market, please check with us to ensure that your specific international destination is available. Buyers hold responsibility for any customs/excise laws or fees in their shipping destination country. Prestige Whisky Auction will not cover any additional duties, or offer refunds, for bottles which are returned, held or destroyed by local border agencies. 

You can determine the delivery cost of your order by using our shipping cost calculator. Prices are calculated on a packaged bottle weighing 2kg and bottles that are bigger than 70cl, or packaged in special edition/presentation boxes, may attract a higher delivery charge.

Please note that all orders shipped within the UK will be subject to VAT at 20%. Those sent out with the UK will be charged VAT at 0%.

Shipping to USA

We are able to ship to all US states with the exception of Iowa, Utah, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Hampshire. 

Shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico & Hawaii may be available on request.

Shipping in EU

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to the following EU destinations:

France, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Greece, Estonia and Hungary.

Insurance 

You are welcome to add insurance to your order by selecting “add insurance” at the checkout. This will add a premium of 4% of the value of items being insured with minimum fee being £12. Our insurance covers breakages or loss during transit. It is not possible to cover any leakages where age and condition of bottle seals will vary. There can be no claim made against leakage in transit.

Personal Service

In addition to our courier service, we also offer a personal white-glove collection and delivery service within the UK. This is a service which focuses on the bottles that you may feel require the exclusive and personal touch, especially if bottles have been purchased as a gift.

All white glove collections and deliveries are carried out by Prestige Whisky Auction staff who will hand deliver or collect your bottles to UK mainland address specified by you. Please feel free to discuss your requirements with our team by emailing [email protected].
