Non-Members: If you contact us at any point for any reason, we may record your name, email address and contact number. Similarly, any person who wishes to be added to our mailing list will require to provide their name and email address. This will enable us to either respond to your query, add you to our mailing list or provide you with
more information on our company and services.


Members: When registering with Prestige Whisky Auction you will asked to provide basic information such as full name, billing and delivery address, email address and contact number. In addition to the above information required as a buyer, you will have to provide your bank details for payment to be made following your lot being sold. This information from members allows us to monitor who is participating in each auction, who and
where we are shipping orders to, providing delivery updates via our team of third party couriers and
company review requests.

General Information: In addition to the above, we may gather and store information on your estimated geographic location via your IP address plus the device and operating system used to access our site. For example, you may use Safari on an iPhone or Google Chrome on a PC. We may collect information on the sections of our site you view and how you interact with them. This information gives us an insight into the location of our members and website traffic figures. Depending on how you access our website we may obtain information from third parties. For
example, you may click through to our site from a news article, newsletter or social media.


Newsletters


All members will automatically be added to our mailing list alongside anyone who subscribes themselves. Newsletter subjects may include but are not limited to, upcoming auctions, new releases, special offers, new website features, planned maintenance or other business-specific updates. Our newsletter facility will be handled by a third party who will process and store all email addresses and full names. It is possible unsubscribe by simply clicking “unsubscribe” on any email you receive. Alternatively you can change email frequency at any time via your online account or email us at [email protected]. Once you unsubscribe we will stop sending any promotional material to you.


Payment Information


At Prestige Whisky Auction, we have a choice of payment methods for our members. Full information can be found in our FAQs. Payments made by credit/debit card are processed by a third party and as such we will not store or
process your card details. Your credit/debit card details are never viewed by or shared with us. Should you make or receive payments by bank transfer, we may retain some banking information. It is the sole responsibility of the member to ensure these are always correct and are updated if/when they are changed.

Sale of Information
Prestige Whisky Auction Limited will never sell any personal information to any other person, organisation or third party.

We will never disclose any personal information unless required by any law enforcement agencies relevant to the UK or any other country.
