Distillery Information
Destillery logo

Wolfburn was established in 1821 and is situated in Thurso, on Scotland’s rugged north coast, it has become the largest distillery in Caithness.

Ceasing production in 1850s, Wolfburn's new distillery was given the go-ahead in 2012 and is just a short walk along the burn from the old site. With production commencing in 2013, their inaugural expression was released in February 2016.

They continue to make their whisky the same way it was always made: by hand, using only the finest ingredients, and without haste. Wolfburn's whisky is distilled, matured and bottled on-site.
