Bottle Description

This is one of the four legendary Ardbeg Provenance bottlings, distilled in 1974 and released between 1997 and 2000. These whiskies are highly acclaimed and equally desirable.

This was distilled in 1974, one of the last years that Ardbeg's maltings were fully operational and bottled on 9 April 1998 at a cask strength of 54.7% ABV.

This version of Provenance is the USA release and was imported by Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide.

Founded in 1815, Ardbeg has become an extremely popular brand and as a result have had to increase their production over the last few years. 

With releases such as their Committee bottlings always being in demand as soon as they are released.
