A stunningly presented collaboration between Macallan and French Crystal company Lalique, The Macallan No. 6 is the last release in the 1824 Master Series.
The name "No. 6" is chosen to represent the Six Pillars of the Macallan; these six components form the foundation to the success of the brand and include their curiously small stills and their exceptional oak casks among other things.
The whisky has been aged in first fill Spanish Sherry casks before being bottled in a six sided decanter to pay homage to Macallan's six pillars.
All items are carefully inspected and any marks or damage are noted within the lot description. We do however strongly recommend that you undertake a thorough close-up inspection prior to placing any bids. If you are not satisfied with the information shown and would like more details, please contact us on [email protected] and our team will be happy to help. It is also important to note that lots will be sold as seen and described.
It is important to note that should an outer box be provided, it will be photographed and shown regardless of the condition. If there is not an image of an outer box, this means it is absent and will not be provided.
All lots can have insurance against breakage or loss during transit added at an additional cost. This is available to add at the checkout at a cost of 4% of the hammer price. Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of the liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against leakage in transit.
