Bottle Description

An extremely rare oportunity to own a replica bottling of The Intrepid: Macallan 1989 32 year old which is taken from the World's Largest Bottle of Whisky. This also includes a set of twelve hand-signed prints from famouse explorers.

The Intrepid became the world’s largest bottle of whisky on September 9, 2021. Standing at over 1.8m tall, the record-breaking bottle contained 311 litres of fine single malt which was distilled at The Macallan Distillery in 1989.

This very special lot does not just contain a beautifully presented 50cl bottle of 32 year old Macallan whisky; It includes a boxed miniature bottle, original The Intrepid Auction catalogue and a set of twelve limted edition signed and framed prints.

The prints include collages of some of the world’s most pioneering individuals, including Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Karen Darke MBE, Sarah Outen MBE, Dwayne Fields FRGS, Will Copestake and Sir Ranulph Fiennes. Each print measures 31 x 44cm, has been beautifully framed and also hand signed by each explorer!

Already rare due to there only being 150 bottles produced; there hasn't been any other bottle released with these very special, hand-signed and framed prints. This is most definitely a unique opportunity to own a world-famous whisky!
